Tax Return Filing Due Dates Are Changing!

It's hard to believe that it is already mid-October! That means the 2016 tax return filing season is just around the corner! This coming filing season will be very different for many of our clients. Why? The biggest impact is due to the fact that the IRS has enacted several changes for filing deadlines for taxable years starting after December 31, 2015.

A few highlights:

  • Partnerships with a calendar year end are now due March 15th

  • C Corporations with a calendar year end are now due April 15th

  • Payroll forms 1099 and W-2 must now be filed with the tax authorities by January 31st
